Regional Sales Manager West Austria (Team Lead) (m/w/d) [Austria]

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager (Team Lead) in charge of developing the MH Brand Portfolio in the region of West Austria (Area around Bregenz, Innsbruck), striving for incremental brand equity & profitability, associated with the empowerment of a team of On-Trade Area Managers, responsible for on-trade channel.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of pricing, conditions, promotion and activation strategies within framework agreed by sales management
  • Implementation of key brand objectives within the Austrian region for specialists and on-trade channel to ensure presence and visibility
  • People development: strong coaching, training and motivational capacities; responsibility for a team of 5 sales area managers
  • Direct care of a variety of key / high Energy image accounts in his region. (15 Accounts)
  • Permanent supervision of market development, consumer insights & trends, trading volume and competitor’s activities
  • Identification of key market trends, trace new business opportunities for MH and brand portfolio
  • Monthly comparison of targets vs. actual business results, steady adaption of business targets on monthly basis
  • Preparing team targets for region, top customers and sales team
  • Editing of regular or monthly reports, including core business KPIs, major team achievements and developments
  • Permanent supervision of given budgets (trade activation & overhead budget)
  • Ensure close collaboration and coordination with internal On-Trade Key Account Management Team
  • Strong collaboration and coordination with internal Marketing and Communication department
  • Guarantee that all negotiated activities are compliant with given competition law rules and immediately inform Management Team in case of any occurring risk
  • Realisation of product trainings for both, sales team and customers
  • Hosting customer and consumers events whilst presenting MH brands
  • Act as ambassador for both, company and brands within sales region
  • Develop and manage catman actively with High image accounts to maximize brand awareness in alignment of brand objectives.
  • Manage all rarities and allocations for MH premium brands for all Channels

Occasion Lead:

1. SALES AND DISTRIBUTION DEVELOPMENT

  • Drive brand performance according to Brand Equity KPIs: volume and value, quality of the distribution, quantity and quality of brand activations
  • Manage front-line: visit targeted accounts to introduce and sell the brands, including product listing, commercial negotiation and activation planning
  • Influence brand visibility and impact in-store and spot effective activation opportunities
  • Establish a clear hit list of existing and “to conquer” accounts in the on trade

2. KEY CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT

  • To lead and implement a customer strategy and plan that achieves the annual customer budget
  • Build relationships with key customers at all levels, act as primary contact for joint business development
  • Deliver agreed volume, cost price, customer investment (FTT).

3. BRAND MANAGEMENT

  • Support the Brand Manager in the Development and Implementation of mid-term (1-3 year) brand strategies in line with local strategies and Maisons


Profile

Education:

  • Commercial training or Business Administration or related, emphasis Sales

Languages:

  • English fluent written & spoken

Professional experience & know how:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in sales
  • Customer management
  • Understanding of the Austrian wholesaler and gastro market
  • Good knowledge of national chains

Technical & management skills:

  • Proven abilities in communication and negotiations
  • Structured, methodical beginning
  • Driving License
